Another great option is the Kalapaki Sunset River Cruise, which departs within walking distance of Banyan Harbor.

There are many great kayaking experiences on Kauaʻi, including several near Banyan Harbor. One of the most popular adventures is the kayak and waterfall hike combo on the Wailua River. This trip can be done on a guided tour or as a self-guided rental. Within walking distance of Banyan Harbor is Hawaiian Style Outrigger Canoe Paddle.

Nearby Kipu Ranch is Kauaʻi’s off-road ATV adventure playground. Their guided ATV tours take you across a stunning 3,000-acre ranch filled with movie locations, mountain views, and waterfalls. Tours last about 3 hours and are available for guests 9+.

Some of Kauaʻi’s best snorkeling is found along the breathtaking Nā Pali Coast, a must-see while visiting the island. Snorkelers can expect to see coral reefs, tropical fish, sea turtles, and other marine life. The Super Snorkel Na Pali combo provides the island’s best snorkel experience.

Kauai offers numerous watersport adventures. Surf lessons at nearby Kalapaki Beach are within walking distance of Banyan Harbor. Also nearby is a guided waterfall hike and a waterfall rappel course. Other popular options include sportfishing and scuba diving.

The Zodiac platoon raft provides one of the island’s great Na Pali adventures. These will enter sea caves, snorkel, and dolphin watch in the mornings. Super Rafts provide the most comfort, and smaller rafts operate Na Pali Beach Landings during the summer.

There are several outstanding zipline courses on Kauaʻi, many located just a short drive from Banyan Harbor. Zipline tour options range from 1 to 8 ziplines and offer incredible views not accessible to the general public. Our south shore zipline course is one of the island’s longest.
